Homemade Organic, Non-UPF Granola: The Ultimate Superfood Breakfast

Ingredients
  

  • 5 C Organic Rolled Oats
  • 1 C Organic Pecans
  • 1 C Organic Walnuts
  • 1 C Organic Almonds
  • .5 C Organic Sliced Almonds
  • .5 C Organic Lightly Salted Sunflower Seeds
  • .5 C Organic Lightly Salted Pumpkin Seeds (Pepitas)
  • 1 C Organic Coconut Flakes
  • 1.5 C Organic, Raw, Unfiltered Honey
  • .75 C Organic, Unrefined Coconut Oil
  • 1 tbsp Organic Madagascar Vanilla
  • 1 tbsp Organic Cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Organic Cocoa
  • .5 tsp Sea Salt

Equipment

  • 1 Large Bowl
  • 1 Medium Bowl
  • 1 Baking Sheet
  • 1 Large Spoon or Spatula
  • 1 Medium Spoon
  • 1 Pair of Gloves
  • Parchment Paper

Method
 

Mix Dry Ingredients
  1. In large bowl, mix well, oats, all nuts, all seeds and coconut flakes
  2. Add cinnamon and cocoa and mix well
Mix Wet Ingredients
  1. In medium bowl, microwave coconut oil in 30-second increments until completely melted
  2. Add honey, vanilla, sea salt and stir well with medium spoon
  3. Microwave oil and honey mixture, in 30-second increments, until they mix well together
Combine Wet and Dry Ingrdients
  1. Pour wet mixture over the dry mixture in the large bowl
  2. Put on gloves and mix wet and dry ingredients, until the mixture is well-coated
Bake
  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees
  2. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper and spread mixture in an even layer
  3. Bake mixture for 10 minutes
  4. Remove from oven and stir with large spoon or spatula
  5. Place mixture back in over for an additional 10 minutes
  6. Remove from oven and stir
  7. Let mixture cool completely
  8. Store in airtight container, up to two weeks
